Post by: thommo on September 28, 2008, 01:58:02 AM
on the 5/09 the ever faithful 600 bandito rolled the speedo over for the 2nd time. 200,000km.

I still have another 17,000km to go to claim that i've ridden 200K on it.  pesky first owner hardly rode the poor thing

Mate thats awesome :thumb:, but in this day and age, it should be the norm for power plants such as the trusty B6.
My old hardly riding mates from the old days carn;t believe the mileage I get from my inline 4 bikes. They almost have heart failures at the figures on my old FJ 12, I sold a few years back with 280 thousand Ks on the clock still pulling like no tamorra, with 2 valve shim jobs and a set of friction plates. :yikes:

Way to go thommo :congrats:

It makes my 60,000 km on my '02 B6 look like a small warmup.

I'm embarrased by the measly 44,000km I've got on the 02B12, but not as embarrased as "the Treasurer" should be by the 28,000km she's got on the '00 M750.
