AUTUMN LEAF RALLY
« on: April 06, 2005, 07:27:29 AM »
For anyone that's interested the Tumut Valley Riders are holding their annual Autumn Leaf Rally at Tumorrama over the ANZAC Day weekend.  I've not been to this Rally myself but everyone I've spoken to who has been rate it as one of the best.  And yet again I'm going to miss out - Soccer season starts this weekend and I'm not allowed to go out and play....to much.

Unfortunately I don't have any details but if anyone is interested, I'll grab the details and let you know.

PS. Mick have you still got the flyer for it.

Bugger - If it'll help my sister is in the process of looking for her next bike.  She's considering either a VTR1000 or the SV1000.  Which means she'll be selling the GSX600F, which unfortunately I won't be able to buy back from her.  If you're interested let me know and I'll put you in touch with her.  She lives down in Edithvale.

As for the Autumn Leaf, I've been given strict instructions - KIDS SPORT COMES 1ST - which is a real bummer- except the eldest now plays senior soccer.  This may not sound exciting, but he plays at least one round in TUMUT - so the plan is to go via "Gods Road", weather permitting and home via the Snow Mnts Hwy.  A couple of years ago it took me 2 hours instead of the usual 1 to get to the game - just had to do the section just out of Adelong a couple times.

When the 600 was mine I actually took the fairings off, and bolted the mirrors etc back on, just to see what it would look like.....in short it looks fuggin ugly and not in a nice Triumph Speed Tripple or Ducati Monster way, more in a I've just crashed my bike and can't afford to fix it way, I don't think the pretty blue seat helps.  Needless to say the fairings went back on.

As for it not mucking around when you're riding it, that's usually the way isn't - "Look Mr Mechanic man my bike/car/truck/TV/stereo does this everytime I try to use it"  He comes back out after testing it and says "I don't know what you're talking about, works perfect"

Anyway, again let me know if your interested in the 600 - or are you still trying to convince Donna that she should have the B6 and you get yourself a nice B12.

Thats the deal folks, she now likes the little B6,
But for me to get a new bike I have to slip the old ring on the finger and make an honest women of her.  :duh:  :boohoo:  :duh:
So there you have it folks, do we have the first Bandit Alley wedding. :beers:

Only if:
 a) You two actually get married.
 b) You invite all Bandit Alley members.

Written invitations to everyone are not required, a simple wedding invitation post will do. Not that many (any) non-Oz members are likely to show.

You must really be serious about keeping her and getting a B12.  :beers:

It will not be on gardner straight at the GP, its all ready been done, like to be different maybe, a ride around the alphine way with a simple wedding at Tom Goggin or the at the top of Mt kosi :bigok:  followed by a ride, and a huge piss up :beers: .  and next day more riding and yet more riding I'll need to run in the new bike,  dont you know. In fact I think I'd betta take a fortnight off, (a) run in the new bike. (b) get to know the new bike. (c) recover, and to wonder, "oh shit what have I done" :duh:
