BLOODY P PLATERS
« on: February 25, 2008, 08:28:40 PM »
I used to give them the benefit of the doubt, that was until yesterday.

Here's 'The Eldest' on his KLR650 doing the right thing and stopped at a pedestrian crossing to let them cross.  When this stupid stupid P plater, for some reason best known to herself, decides not to stop and ran in to the back of the KLR.

For the record, 'The Eldest' in the bike are unhurt, but the Magna the P plater was driving now has a dented bumper and a broken headlight.  Yes, he was a lucky boy, but it yet again shows why I bought him dirt bike, and strangely the tyre and number plate of a KLR is stronger than the front end of a Magna. :duh: :duh:

Just a bad one, there are are a lot that try to do the right thing, many that don't, give them all a bad name. All off us that were teenagers in QLD in the seventys had to wear the bloody things. Main thing is the young bloke + his bike are right could have been a lot worse. Just hope the bimbo lernt something. Graham

Glad to hear all is ok.
I have not so fond memories of being rear ended, the 7 months in hospital, the 9 months not being able to walk, 12 months not being able to work, the 2 years of rehab and the same 2 years of only being able to walk like a total efen gimp. I made Steady Eddie's walk look good thou. :duh:
Foot loose and fancy free.
