I'm back too
« on: September 16, 2008, 07:21:30 PM »
Hi Gang,

After a long winter I finally found that BA was back in business so I thought I would start with a nice friendly photo (if I figure it out how to load up one)

Hope this works - Noel will be impressed

He won't have any. He comes from New Zealand, nothing happens over there except rain and clouds.

They're not good. Get your facts straight sheep shagger they were the Wallabies, little Kangaroos. The Storm are from Melbourne so that makes them Mexicans.
Where are the lottery tickets you owe me?
Whilst you are attending work tomorrow I will be motor racing, now that's a better story.

Kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, all marsupials look the same.

I didn't recognise your call sign but you let it slip.

Did you figure out how to do a picture yet?

Enjoy your run tomorrow, rain is forecast I believe

No I haven't figured out how to do a photo yet.
Race day was good, no rain and I came 10th out of I believe 41 cars including a couple of open wheelers, Subaru Sti, BMW Z4 supercharged and a heap of very hot Triumph sports cars.

:welcome: back bloke.  I'd prefer it if you didn't mention the Storm/Warriors game.  I'm still shattered. Although I'm actually from Vic and don't really follow the NRL, having the Storm come in to the comp has given me a chance to at least fain interest in the bum sniffers game.  Aussie Rules is so much closer to football, at least they kick the ball and not throw it backwards.  Oh and for the record Carn the Cats.

It has been quiet here, B6 has been off line for a while and I've been too busy with work and family to spend a lot of time on the Alley.

But it is good to have you back..

aussiebandit,
You obviously don't know him like I do or you wouldn't welcome him back so warmly. A bloke who reckons Kangaroos, Wallabies and Wombats and all marsupials for that matter look the same doesn't have a lot going for him. Also don't forget he comes from the land of the long white sheep, sorry cloud.
He also wouldn't know what Aussie Rules is as they play that other football where one bloke falls on the ball and everybody else falls on top of that bloke.
I suppose Aussie Rules could best be described as aerial ping pong. Bugger now I've alienated the southern half.

What I'm about to say (type) will probably alienate me as well.....

the ONLY true and pure game of football is what the hethans in the 'Great Southern Lands' call soccer...

Its getting worse.
Off to Speed on Tweed in the morning on the Bandit, first ride for months. I am embarrassed to admit it but I have only done just over 4000kms since April 2007.
That bloody Kiwi bloke, there is no hope for him, he is useless as tits on a bull. Couple of years ago my wife and I were to take our Bandit to NZ for a tour, so I put Marty in charge of the weather. The previous Christmas the weather was great over there but fortunately we were let down by the shipping company and the trip was called off in October having been booked in the January. It was just as well. Marty couldn't organise a chook raffle in a pub. It either rained or snowed every day we would have been there.
Next post ask him about the cricket and how they bat underarm.
