LABOUR DAY LONG WEEKEND
« on: October 02, 2006, 04:36:38 AM »
So, what did everyone (NSW, ACT, SA and WA) get up to on their long weekend.

Personally, I completely wasted mine -

Friday Night - indefinitly grounded "the eldest" - long story suffice to say the local Cops now know who he is.
Saturday - went furniture shopping - lots of fun - however I managed to swing by a couple of the local bike shops and 'look' at some new bits and pieces for the bike
Sunday - worked from home - oh what joy - I just love working on projects that involve major national and international companies
Monday - worked from home again - but decided that the PS2 was just to much fun and played MOTOGP3 and GT4.

Why didn't I go for a ride I hear you ask? -  NSW had double demerit points this weekend - and I've only just managed to get my full allotment of points back and I'm in no hurry to loose anymore.

I just wasted my time too.....

Saturday spent prepping my other bike (YZF600R)

Sunday spent at Eastern Creek on aforementioned Yammy, dragged knees, and toe scrapers, and still have Gold licence!!!

Monday, drained fuel from track bike, cleaned my Bandit, watched TV...., um, mixed up some 2 stroke for the mower, watched TV....
That's impressive,
and I'm not easily impressed.

Look, a blue car!

Well guys the weather down here was perrrrrrfect.
No double demerit points either.
Like Aussie have heaps of crap to do around the house, like painting oh fun, but there is an upside, now knowing how much fun it is to watch paint dry, well one had to go for a ride, while the paint dried

And with the other halfs, she who must be obeyed, the minister of war, and oh aint she a happy pregnent one. NOT. :duh: She's been banned from riding by the doctors, not happy Jan, sorry Janice. anyway Donna's uncle and aunt from England are over on holiday so I had to twist the little pommie beggers arm, for the ride of his life(the only ride of his life) Well what can I say, he aint a black spur virgin now

And man with everyone off the road saturday because the AFL grand final, it felt like I had the road to myself, well almost, hmm you know how I've been saying you can get away with murder on the roads, cause there is no cops to catch you :duh: Pulled over twice, licence checked rego check breath tested, they even checked out me little mate riding on the tank. But all good, no loss of points and better still no loss of dollars. phew, me a lucky boy indeed.

Got home paint had dried and started painting again :boohoo:
And we down here didn't even get a long weekend. :crybaby:
Foot loose and fancy free.
Looking for adventure and what ever comes our way.

You're all bstrds - oh well I suppose I'll feel better next weekend when the Redback venture to Humula to start talking RALLY.  After that, with a bit of an arm twist, I might just do Gods Road.

that is unless:
a. the club changes it's mind, or
b. the man upstairs decides that we need rain, and this weekend is it.
