Title: MOTOGP AND PETROL PRICES
Post by: aussiebandit on September 05, 2006, 08:55:26 AM
Anyone travelling to the MotoGP via Wagga Wagga, I've got a few suggestions:

1.   Don't bother - all the 'good' roads are 100km SW of here.
2.   There are only 2 places in town that have ULP @ less than $1.40/lt.  The Toll Transport Depot on Travers St yes we oops I mean they do sell to the public opening hours are 7am to 6pm- opposite the race track (horse racing) and an independent on Fitzmaurice St opposite KFC not sure of the guys opening hours but both places do sell PULP, but I'm not sure of the prices.
3.   The best Tyre prices in Wagga (and district) are at Wagga Bike Tyres on Fitzmaurice St (just near the independant servo).
4.   Beware of the roads - some of the roads in the district are quite literally falling apart.

Update Update Update

Toll Depot in Wagga is now selling ULP @ $1.36/lt

Yes, that's right $1.36/lt - I haven't seen petrol this low for over 6 months.

If figure your roads can be attributed to extremes of weather, and the occaisonal 'shake'.......

Our roads are in the condition they are because of sheer neglect by the relevant government departments.....

As I've said before NSW does not stand for New South Wales, it stands for Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong......unless you live there you get NOTHING except maybe forgotten......christ I hate living in a safe State and Federal seat.........

haha you need a pollie in the neighbourhood. an MP picked her kids up from my neigbour afternoons, guess who got brand new tarmac end of last fin. year! And it was only redone like 10yrs ago was in perfect condition.

I was still driving then and for 3 weeks the bum used to drift allll the way round the bend. Oh and no lines for nearly 2 months :duh:  The number of people going near the gutter, wrong side of the road....
