Gone, but back now
« on: June 29, 2008, 04:30:01 AM »
Yep, I've been gone from the Alley for a while.  Nothing nasty, just not enough time in the day.  Work has been a bstrd lately.

Just a little catch up for you.

"The Eldest" has his full licence and was eyeing off "The Treasurers" M750, that was until he test rode an R6.  But that will have to wait until he's finished his recruit and trade training - yes his joined the ARMY. He decided not to follow in my footsteps and join the RAAF, and he doesn't think much of spending long periods of time on board ships, so the Navy was out as well.  He's doing well, passing everything.

"The Treasurer" had a bit of a health scare (women's issues) and spent a couple of days in hospital after a small op.  She's doing fine now and hopefully will be back riding the M750 in a week or so.  Oh, that reminds me, for those of you who read a previous post about her selling the M750 and buying either a FZ1S or an R6, well, as is a woman's want, she's changed her mind and has decided to keep the Ducati and just spend some money on a mix of 'go fast' bits and 'comfort' bits.
