I spent 2 weeks in Perth 2 years ago - work relatated unfortunately.  I was intending spending my spare Sunday in Freo, but when I read Saturdays paper and saw that the last round of the WA Superbike Championship was on, well no guessing where I spent Sunday.  I did get down to Freo on Saturday arvo, cool place.  Rang the Treasurer and kids from (forgive my spelling) Cottlesloe, just to piss them off I told them the weather was brilliant and the scenery better.  

The one thing that got to me though was that I was on four wheels not two.  I couldn't believe the number of bikes, and the fact it seemed that the local council was motorcyle friendly, at least with parking spaces.

I'm actually living in Cottesloe at the moment and its great seeing the amount of bikes cruising around on a beautiful weekend. It's even better to be out amongst them.

You really are a bum :lol:  - what a great commute each day - the only way it could be better was if it was MY commute.  But then again, I've got mountains about 1hr away but without your weather.
