Psycho or psychic
« on: April 10, 2005, 02:10:17 AM »
Well, after spending all day saturday changing the timing belts on the good womans courier van, and undoing the mess that the previous idoit who worked on the timing belts, a long story, to say the least, hmm its a wonder it ran at all. Anyway with the good woman off for the day to play AFL football. She strongly suggested I go for a ride today, Hmmm fare enough. Weather 10.30am 27c and climbing, so a quick check on the net to find a local net group heading out for a ride in my local favorite roads.
So me and the dog get geared up to go. I'm half hour behind so I had to make tracks big time. I managed to catch them at the first stop, and continued on with them to the next lunch stop, weather getting hotter now at least 30c, Hmmm, clouds forming to the south and west and the nasty type, I quickly said farwell and headed home at post haste. No sooner than I had got home quickly given the bike a wash, and down it came. Thunder lightening, hail wind the lot. I swear Melb weather is getting more and more like queensland tropical weather. :beers: Pity the poor buggers still out there. :duh:
Foot loose and fancy free.
Looking for adventure and what ever comes our way.

I thought that was just par for the coarse in Melbourne.  You know nice one minute shyte the next.  If you don't like it wait half an hour, it'll change.

Don't worry Mick I cop it all the time when people find out that I'm from down that way.  But as I always point out "Sydney gets more rain the Melbourne".

At least you were smart enough to go home.
