I've been a member for some time and I can tell you that this site is normally fairly quiet.  An occasional joke, girlie pic, some tech questions, and that's about it.

We had a new member earlier this year that tried to spice stuff up a bit and have some fun, but it didn't go over real big.  He's moved on to more active sites.  Expect this site to pretty much always be like you see it now.  Worth a once a day visit, but you won't find a way to stay on it all day.

Nothing wrong with that.  All forums are different.

I've been on several forums.  The GSResources and Maximum-Suzuki seem to be the most active.  Stromtrooper, the V-Strom site, is pretty active, then there's BanditAlley (sort of low-medium activity), followed by the VX800 site, which you only need to visit once every month or so.

That's what I think most of us have been doing - riding - oh you've not been reading ummmm-------hello

And just to bring you up to date with some of the regulars....

Mick and the minister of war are having a baby - poor kid -

Marty's back from a long absence, even Amboman is back - albeit on a Ho....Ho...Hon....sorry like Mick I can't say it - you know the Jap manufacturer that makes bikes that are about as interesting as a car, have zero character and are usually described as 'nice'......

I've been pretty busy at work and not really interested in sitting in front of PC when I get home....

Oh and the site was down for a week or so, which means people will have drifted away and have been slow to return.....

By the way, what's the water taste like up there in Queensland......

The last time I washed the bike was about 4 weeks ago when it rained...damn the rain is cold in winter even up here....neighbours thought i was a nut case for washing bike and car in the rain...waste not want not.
As for babies had mine 25 years ago and they all ride ....

It's been sunny here too, just cold - mind you I wouldn't object if it rained for a week - god knows we need it.....

I'm back   Well the weather, blue skies, no rain, but I must add, thank god I dug out them ski suits, and gloves, shyte it was cold.
Left here, 10 am saturday morning, out through the back of Ringwood and followed the ranges, were I might add it was nice and sunny, to Wandong/Kilmore/Kyneton/Daylesford then on to Maldon for lunch.
From there on to Castlemaine/Bendigo/Heathcote/then back road to Packu/Seymour, down one of favorite bits of twisties to Yea/Yarra Glen/Healsville, and finished up the day at Worri Yallock for dinner out with the outlaws :beers: and just a few drinks. And that twisty section I did enjoy, I've finally got the Zed handling to point that I can dance with the devil on it, like I would on the B6, and wow it only took me the best part of a year to get it that way. The draw back it now likes the corners but shyte you not its, nervous as hell in a straight line. :duh:
How, back end rebound 1 compression 1 preload max
front end softest settings as well, and the fork tubes a massive 16mm through the triple clamps.
Foot loose and fancy free.

It's been years since I've been to Maldon - I've got distant relatives in Castlemaine that we only see at Births, Weddings, and Funerals or as my Dad used to say - Hatches, Matches and Despatches.

My brother moved to Bendigo (from QLD) a couple of years ago, but between his motor racing, and our kids we don't get to see them that often.
