hey WIZUD  its slo coach,i must be older than u and marty because i can't remember bugger all,but i do remember riding between Melbourne and Sydney last year on the ENTERPRISE, a honda 1300 ST  which when i first saw it i almost undid the deal with the rental guy but it turned out to  be a great bike with 97000 on the clock and running like new.i think we were in the Mansfield area and had ridden past lakes with hugh black trees that looked dead and from the ice age era.australia is such a beautiful place to ride and we came on to a perfectly straight road that stretched to the horizon with nothing else in sight except 5 of my mates that  we all went to school together  and a flash  off glass on the horizon,so we button off ,ride down the 5 or 6 kms to the flash ,and a policeman jumps out from behind a gum tree and breathyles us all in the middle of knowhere and told  us the bikers on the Alpine road were going nuts after phillip island.i can remember to a silver v8 monaro police car chasing anR1 the other way.i can't wait to get back this year----- spot ya----SLO COACH

I guess I'm the lucky one. We're at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges so in ten minutes I'm either on the freeway into the city [ takes 40 minutes all up] or leaned over at some sphincter puckering angle screaming "yee-ha!!" into my helmet

Hey Wizud, How goes neighbour, I'm at the bottom of that hill ya live on.
Kinda beteen Burwood Hwy and Mountain Hwy. Should catch up.

With Aussie bandit heading down for the GP and slo coach, sounds like we should make the effort to get together at some stage. :beers:
Foot loose and fancy free.

Getting together at GP sounds great! the pillion and I have a place at the island and are guarenteed to be there. Also regularly do rides with some mates [any excuse will do] so if you need to get out there let me know, your'e welcome to join us. BTW did you hear about the guy that got chased up Canterbury Rd. the other week? they couldn't catch him so they took him out head on. Then proceeded to pull him out from under the cop car by the helmet, kicked him a few times then cuffed him and stood around waiting for tha ambo's. At least they didn't shoot him!!!

Rick
If you can't ride today, try and have a good day anyway!

Sounds like a plan, but I may be a bit pre occupied for a month or so with the lasted buy, getting the Rex on the road is a major prority right now. No did not hear about the cop chase on canterbury rd, but that does sound a bit harsh. Unless however he was a bike thief, in that case they should have kicked him a few more times and then shoot him.
