Umarh I'm a bad boy
« on: April 22, 2007, 07:14:21 AM »
Because I've been offline for while, I've got heaps done round the house, even started a total revamp of the shed of creation. New carpet, a total clean out, spares are gone moulds, fibreglass, and carbon bits all gone to a new 3x3m shed in the back yard. Yep just motorbikes, tools and a new 3.4m work bench. New lighting, even a ceiling fan for them hot summer nights. So today I went hunting around the markets,    a new swing vice with anvil, and something I've been hanging for, for years. A airbrush setup. So if ya don't see me around to much, I'll be out in the shed, teaching myself some new tricks.

Might start with a helmet or two before I jump in and do something radical with the bikes.

How did you get a 3.4m long bench in a 3m X 3m shed?
Diagonally, or is the bench not in the shed?

I gather the "shed of creation" will fit a 3.4m workbench and the 3x3 shed is just for storage - buy my translation might not be totally fluent.   :stir:

It's alright guys, we understand that aussie/english may be a bit hard to understand, even in the written form. :duh:

By the way Mick, when you've experimented with helmets and are ready to do something with bikes, let me know.  The Eldest has some ideas for his KLR.

Welders theory Red01, if it don't fit use a bigger bloody hammer.

No the shed of creation, is one of three sheds, one  for mower, garden tools and the junk that women would cluter your garage with :taz:  The second is for the push bikes all 5 of them and thats not counting the kids bikes. The ministers triathlon bike, road race bike, and mountain bike, my road racer and mountain bike, also in that shed is all the hiking stuff, back packs sleeping bags tents, fishing gear. Then there is all my fibreglass/carbonfibre moulds.
Leaving the garage/shed of creation with nothing but motorbikes, tools and a wonderful 3.4m workbench.

i cant wait to get a real shed out the back! i gotta sort out my garage first before a 6x6x2.4m back shed gets the go ahead from the missus!

this weekend we're building overhead storage for all our watersports gear.. surfing, diving, kitesurfing, etc. so that there's 100% floor space for our 2 cars and the Bandit.. and have room to walk around them.
