Yet another dumb a$$ law

From a mate

How's this? A mate got done for taking his foot off the footpeg. Cop was
following him. He got a bit of a cramp in his leg, so he stretched it.
He couldn't believe what he was getting booked for. According to the
cop, you have to keep both feet on the pegs at all times, except when
parked. The fine,  at least, is $145 and 1 demerit point.

I never even knew such a law existed, as I've never, ever, until today,
heard of anyone getting done for it.

I'm surprised that our nanny-state government hasn't made it a
"hoonable" offence...

Yes and right or wrong they the police can and do enforce it when they are bored or have a hate of bikes. they can also do you for riding one handed,( bit of a bitch for motorcycle couriers operating 2 way radios on the move, oophs who me, never did that     unless you are doing hand signals, turn signal or stop, not one fingered or two fingered gestures  With the new fatigue laws they are looking to introduce, they have you cold, they will say you are showing signs of fatigue, even if you are just stretching, they will insist that you stop, revive, survive.
Foot loose and fancy free.
