As for riding on the dragon at break neck speeds, not even necessary. Last rally we held a bandit parade through the dragon. We held a steady speed of 40-45mph. Seems slow doent it, its not on the tight corners, Was kinda fun to see if you could do it with out easing up on the throttle and not touching the brakes. I plan on doing that again, maybe we can do the bandit parade again, was cool

Whoever will be here Thursday night might want to go to the Vortex in Little five points (Atlanta) it is their bike night and that time of year should be around 200 bikes throughout the night.

IF my engine is done and my bike is running I'll be there on FrankenBandit

Hey we are way too silent on this post! Time ticking away tooo slowly? Man do I need a break from the job! Time to take one cause I can't take no more! I see the Busa Bash folk had a great time even though they had rain, with a few mishaps. I think some left donations to the state D!k$ fund like we did on the last trip to that fair area. Looking forward to a safe, refreshing, great weather, trip!

Good idea!  I made it through the Dragon once without touching my brakes.  Talk about a challenge!  Of course, you do get passed a lot. heh, heh.  But being able to do that, was just as satisfying and difficult to me as trying to go as fast as I can through there. In a lot of ways, it was more difficult!  Especially when going downhill. (don't miss a shift)  Yipes!
RIDE FAST,
NO FEAR,
STAY ALIVE!

Im hoping for a trip thur and maybe friday to do the dragon cherohala loop. These days our best before  the zoo starts on the weekend. The weekend is best for other less known roads like Wayah rd and 28/64 to highlands. Cant wait to do some serious riding, serious drinking (at night), and some serious BS ing. Any other potential rally attendee's  have some roads there itchin to hit???

In case anyone missed it on the other Posting.

Hey people to all who plan on making the trip to GA welcome.   :welcome:   I too would like to ride with a few of you all. But I have mad plans to Deal's Gap before I knew of the B.O.S.S. Rally. But I am hoping to pass Suches on the way to Deal's Gap. I have heard talk about maybe some of you all come down to Atlanta on the Thur. Nite at the Vortex it would be great to see some of you all there. Oh yes I heard also talk about maybe you all riding up at Deal's Gap as well. Once again I would like to hook up with a few of you al there if you all make it up that way. Shoot me a E-mail with maybe a Phone number and if maybe you all will make Bike Nite or Deal's Gap. I will be more then glad to shoot my Phone number back to you also. Hope to see someone you all there.

Well it looks like I'll have to sit this one out. The $ is tight, wife would be pissed, but that wasn't really going to stop me. But what does, I have a new house to start next week, and as soon as its ready,I have to get all the flooring in so the carpenter can do his work. Its my main account, the builder is a quick payer, but when he's ready, I got to get my stuff done. So I wish you all a safe and fun week of riding while I'm slamming 700 sq ft of floor in.
