I am thinking of going the the BOSS 05 rally. Would appreciate company to help me see some new roads and meet new friends.
I'm considering leaving the Mississauga area ('burb of Toronto, Ontario Canada) on Thursday night and getting as far as Erie PA (top of I79).
Next morning heading south to the junction of 79 & 77 and meeting up with Ohio riders about noon. I hear they're not afraid of the cold and know some interesting back roads.
If the Ohio riders agree to that time/location, we can drive some back roads (instead of 77 straight over) to the campground. Let me know if another time/location is better.
Any Southern Ontario riders want to join me and meet in Mississauga, Buffalo or Erie? Share a motel in Erie - warning, I snore!!!!!
Any Ohio riders interested in helping a northerner discover some interesting roads south-east of 79/77?
Of course, all bets are off if the forecast for Buffalo is 7 ft of snow. (don't laugh, Toronto never gets that much but New York does - lake effect)

Man - my new rain gear just got here today!  I'M READY!  WOO HOO!  If I just close my eyes real tight, will it be May???

Wayne - I'm not sure if Dan Lander has 'rediscovered' us since the board came back up but, I think he was trying to make the rally.  He's from Erie.  Ya might be able to hook up with him.  Man, seeing a good Southern-Ontario Indian name like Mississauga makes me want to head north for a fishing trip, too!

Hey Pete, Hey Gary
No I havent disappeared. I just couldn't post on the last board for some reason. Just wanted to remind youto take plenty of pics at the rally! Wish I could be there, but I'll be at bike week in Myrtle Beach. (my daughters birthday) I guess someone needs to have a real bike there anyway. Nice to see the BBS back up and running!

If you recall I had a new Burgman 400 at last year's BOSS.  I loved it but picked up a Burgman 650 last Saturday (Blue) and probably I'm going to replace both my 400 and Bandit with this one.  My plan is to bring both to BOSS '05 and then go on up to DC to visit our son.  Looking forward to getting the 650 in the mountains.

Claudia, one question.

How can you tell the KY hillbillies from the VA hillbillies?

Pete,
Of course, you'll not see this until you return. I'd be happy to throw in some cash for another one of those hats!

No vacation from work until 3 months in...

Despite fog, rain, hail, and a "disabled leader" -- I had a good time -- even got a door prize or two!!  Pete, as to Memorial Day get together -- I've really got to get back to the flatlands of FL (too much mountain time leads to nose bleeds!!) and Memorial Day sounds like a great time to STAY OFF the Ridge, the Dragon, and such!  Right now I'm getting my kicks on I-95 in DC -- that's enough excitement for me.  If some of you do go up that weekend -- keep the rubber side DOWN and the shiny side UP!!!
