Hey There Everyone

We're riding our Bandit 1200S down to the Boss 2005 Ralley. We're coming from the Brantford / Hamilton area. About 50 miles west of Toronto. We're planning to leave Friday morning, and riding through Pennsylvania to Morgantown, WV. then the rest of the way on Saturday.
We have friends in Charlotte and may connect with them at the "Stations Inn" in Laurel Springs on thte Parkway. The rest of the time we will spend at ther campground and riding in the group rides. We could be convinced to change our itinerary if anyone wants to hook up for the ride from this area or from Western New York, or Pennsylvania. Anyway, we just wanna ride and meet a few new friends.

Sounds like a good adventure. If you read through the other threads in this forum, there is someone from Missasauga (ok, I butchered the spelling 'cause I was too lazy to go look it up!) - which is pretty near you if I recall my Southern Ontario geography.

You will like Stations Inn. However, it does attract a heavy V-twin crowd and there is a lot of alcohol consumed as they have a bar on site.

Questions for Pete:
1) Looks like you will have an informal early ride on Thursday, correct?
If so I may change my plans posted earlier, trailer down overnight Wed and join a (slow, groggy) group Thurs.
2) I'll have to leave around noon on Sunday to be back at work Monday. Do we have a short loop Sun?

I came back from Fla a few weeks ago and found it is 10 1/2 hours of boring superslab from 77/BRP to my home. Interested in doing nice twisties on tires that don't have a flat spot. (Did the BRP, Dragons Tail, Cherahola and others in Oct on the way to Fla, then a Saddlesore/Iron Butt back from Fla to Canada, both tires were trash when I got back.)

Hi Wayne!
Yeah, there will be some sort of shortish, informal ride on Thursday.

The area kind of lends itself to shorter loops, so you should be able to ride some nice stuff Sunday, before you head north.

Our group rides are pretty informal, so much so, you might not even know they're happpening!

I'll try to lead a slower, more tolerant group each day, not ranging too far, and really suggest people new to the area ride with us the first day.

I'll cover the 'good stuff' within 50 miles or so of the campground, and there will be enough daylight left you can explore on your own, or hit some favorites, again.

Most of the longer rides will be set up the night before, and we're still looking for ride leaders.

I'll try to let everybody know about meeting place, and departure times for the rides.

Everybody, feel free to make up your own group rides, just let us know if you're looking for a group to ride with.

Just a sidenote....if you're not staying at the campground, make sure you pop by at night to see what's planned (If anything) for the next day.
Oh yeah, stuff that's planned, doesn't always happen 'on time' anyway.
