Wytheville, VA store is about 52 miles from The Meadows of Dan...make it a bit over twenty minutes in overdrive....on second thought , I'm not that hungry...make it about an hour away...

I did not believe that you could get that far away from a Cracker Barrel in the southeast...

According to Yahoo maps, its only 43 miles to the one in Christianburg

we could probably do lunch one day at Cracker Barrel.
I think a ride going through Wytheville, up 52 across Big Walker, and along the VA/WV line on 61 is somewhat planned. ( Or some variation...)

On the 'cigar' run, a breakfast stop 'anywhere' is in order.
We'll pass through Mt. Airy, and there is probably a good local place.....

This may not be 'good', but it's 'famous'..............

Oh yeah!

Sounds like a diabetic's nightmare, though.

It's funny- up here in the Northeast, I've got 3 of them w/in an hour and I drive right by one every day. I haven't been in one since the last time I was in NC.

Ok...so all of my trips across southern VA were at x thousand feet into National or Dulles...I'm with you on the 43 miles....let's see, Cracker Barrel, anyplace that just might, or might not, have decent BBQ..pizza, fried anything....We need new tees Pete...."We Ride to Eat".....
