There are some nice roads in the area.  I don't think anyone will be bored.....

  There are a lot of paved county roads to wander, and eventually you'll cross a main highway, so  you shouldn't get too lost.
  It's different than riding in the 'Gap' or TWO area, but the roads are still good.
  There are some stretches that compare to western NC, but they just aren't as long.   The roads still aren't boring.......and require less than a 'full on' pace.
