1250 color question

In the hopes of joining the ranks of those Bandit Alley members who actually own a Bandit, I'm getting close to the purchase of a gun-metal blue 07 GSF1250ABS.  I've never seen this color in person.  Of the 07 colors, I've seen and love the red and silver but have never seen the blue.

I've seen the blue and black 08 and 09 versions and frankly I'm not a big fan of either.  All my other bikes have been black, so I'm ready for a change...although for years I swore I'd never have a bike any color other than black...oh how we change and grow    And somehow the blue in 08 and 09 is just TOO blue for me.  Don't really know how to describe it, but its just not MY blue.

So now, finally, the question:  Is there much difference between the 07 "gun-metal" blue and the 08/09 blue?  Anyone seen this color in person who can say if it is attractive to them or not.  I've seen tons of pics and I think I'll like this color a lot (assuming it is any different than the 08/09 blue), but I won't get to see it in person until I drive 12 hours to pic the bike up, so I'm looking for some opinions on this color choice.  What do you think?

Any advise or words of wisdom are appreciated.

I've seen this bike in person and I like it, it's a navy/denim blue and to me a very sedate and classy color, not a sportbike color.  My only caveat about my advice is that I would never want a black bike, and I like the Bandit colors of the early 2000s...dark candy apple red, midnight blue and my own teal green.

In the end, if you've seen pictures, and you like what you see compared to other pictures you've seen, you already know more about how you feel than any reassurance we can give you here.

So I'll just wrap with a "good luck" and "hope to hear about your first ride on the blue Bandit"!

I have the 2008 version of that bike, and I like both colors.  The '07 version is just a little darker, and the difference is noticeable if you're paying attention.  My Hard cases (top and side) have the plastic inserts in the '07 color).

So, obviously, I liked the color.   However, like Sven, I don't like black bikes (visibility issues).

Thanks for the replies!  Suzuki lists the color for all three years as "blue" but I've seen the 07 blue referred to as "metallic graphite blue" and the 08/09 blue as "royal blue".  Looks like the seller and I came to terms so I'll pick this bike up in 2 or 3 weeks if all goes well.  Here is a pic for your viewing pleasure!  More to come once I take possession.
