The August 2009 issue of Motorcycle Sport and Leisure* has the new 2009 Bandit 650 on the cover and a very positive review of the 650/650S.  Looks like slight tweaking of appearance is a black engine and black trim on the cowling where the forks come out.  (The "robot face" on the engine is less apparent with the blacked-out engine.)  Below is a pic from the review

I've always thought the engine would look better in black...I like the new headlight and the lower part of the fairing looks pretty good too...hmmm...wonder if the 2010 1250 will get this treatment...

I like the cowling.

Ideas ideas. I need to repaint my ride from scratch since I TOTALLY BUGGERED MY TOUCH-UP JOB.
