Have a 97 B6 and want to ride with a passanger. The Bikes rear shock is fine for me but not so good when i put a passenger. I'm 250 and the passenger is 140. What are my options for a better rear shock?
Also, does that mean i need to change anything with the front forks?
Thanks for the input

A shock from an older GSXR750 or 1100 - see the FAQ section for the details.

There are all of the usual suspects Progressive, Ohlins etc. I came across a company that sells Hagon shocks. I've never heard of them before but the price is very competetive with the other guys and it appears that they will build one for your specific needs. I am going to try them after I decide if I am keeping the B6 or getting a B12 unless someone chimes in and has some negative feedback on these. Here is the link:

Hagon is popular in the UK, but as I understand it, they're close to a Progressive. Better than stock, but not as nice as Ohlins, Penske, Fox and any other high-end shock builder.

i installed a 2005 gsxr 1000 rear showa shock on my 2000 B6....easy for the most part. you must trim some of the battery box away , due to nitrogen piggyback reservoir hitting it.
very nice upgrade for $40... :bandit:
