Title: aluminum tube

I have been trying to find aluminum radius edge rectangular tube. Yes, just what the swingarms on a 1200 are made from. I can find sharpe edge but not radius. I have two spare swingarms and I would like to try and extend myself. I have one arm 4+ but would like to go 8+.

Is it possible that you could cut enough off of one swingarm, and weld on the the other to get 8" of entension. :idea:
