I have been really impressed with the Avon Sport Touring Tires I've got right now.  They are the AV45/46ST in the stock sizes.  They've been to a track day, run some freeway miles, back road twisties, and they still look great after 5000 miles.  I've had excellent grip on the track, in the rain, on dry pavement, gravel, etc.  Anything I can throw at them.  Highly recommended!  They warm up pretty fast too.

I agree!  I just bought them for my B6 and I am very pleased!  Great all round tire.
