I know thers has been a lot of discussion on the seat of the new Bandit being uncomfortable. Last night I had one of those wild hairs and did some cutting on the seat to make it more comfortable. I removed as much of the hard foam as possible to leave a base for the new foam that I used. I had a rear seat from a 1999 VW Beetle laying around, so I used the foam from that seat to fill in what I removed.
The seat is much better now. I rode to work this morning without my butt going numb. I still have a little more work to do on it to make it a little better, but I am pretty happy with it now. I also lowered the seat about an inch when I put the new foam in.
