Bandit 1200 best SADDLEBAG solution wanted !!!

Hey guys... I'm lookin for the best inexpensive saddlebags for the B12...

I'm lookin at the Rapid Transit Recon 77 and the Tour Master Cortech Sport Saddlebags for the moment...

Any comments or suggestions ?

It depends on what you consider 'best' to mean. As it is, you've already used two contradictory words - 'best' and 'inexpensive'.

My son has a Recon tank bag and it hasn't held up well.  Zippers came apart in under a year.  On the plus side, the dealer where he bought it, replaced it with another.

The Cortech bags have been around for several years and have a good reputation.  Between those two choices, I'd go with the Cortech ones.

Check out the Nelson Rigg gear at Newenough.com. I've got a NR tank bag and tail bag and both have held up great. Plus with NR you get their lifetime guarantee which is nice.

 I have the Nelson Rig bags and duffle bag that snaps to the saddle bags. They came with the bike and I have taken several trips with them over the past year with no problems. With this set-up you can carry a lot of crap, I mean stuff.

+1 on the Nelson Riggs. I got the saddlebags and the big tail bag a few weeks ago and took them on a 3 day ride thru Wisconsin during that weekend with the flooding and big storms. You will still need to bag anything in the saddlebags even with the rain covers, but you can't beat the price!.

I got mine from cycleluggage.com and they arrived 2 days after I ordered.

Another vote for nelson rigg. http://www.nelsonrigg.com/
I've got one of the older models and it's been great. It came with a lifetime garuntee. They have excellent customer service. Here is a pic of the saddlebags (DLSB) and top bag (RTB-500) that connects to it. The magnetic tank bag is a river road product. All the bags shown can be expanded by unzipping an accordian style joint. -Tom.
