Title: Bandit and Busa springs
Post by: stinkypalm on September 20, 2006, 03:26:04 AM
I have the various shock legnths for the Bandit 1200 and the Busa but does any one know the actual spring rates and spring lengths for each of these?

I am working towards a Busa shock transplant but want to figure out if the Busa shock will be to stiff for me (85kg/185lbs).

 :wtf:

Do a search, there have been many threads on the subject of putting Busa rear shocks on the B12.

I have done the searches about the transplant but no one seems to know what the standard spring rates are fitted to the OEM units

I seem to recall seeing a post either here or on Max Zuk about a guy that did a busa shock and said it was too springy.

Might be to springy if you weigh 400 pounds!

I have a copy of the page ref shocks from the 'Busa manual if you'd like a copy.  PM me you e-mail address if you do.
