Title: Bridgestone 014's
Post by: FreediverGa on May 10, 2006, 10:20:43 PM
Anyone run this tires on there bike for aggressive sport riding?

This Fall I'm selling my 01 B6 for a 06 GSXR 600 that run the 014.  I'm not big fan of Bridgestone tires and will probly which them out for Metzler M1's or the new M3's.  I might try out the M3's on my B6 before I sell it and if I like them I'll swap out the tires on The Gixxer when I get it!

Give me your thoughts on the Bridgestone 014.  I've hear they take for ever to warm up

i've used them and there good in the dry and wet    i still prefer dunlop 208's though, i can deck the rear brake pedal on the 208's with ease and the bike stays stable

I was a big fan of the 208's, I currently have them on my B12 and went thru a few sets on my TL1000. That is until I mounted Michelin Pilot Powers on my 900SS.

The Powers are absolutely flawless in the grip department. They warm up quickly and stick like glue, I don't expect to get 8000 miles out of them but thats the tradeoff.

They are probably the most popular DOT track tire right now, for good reason.

Ride On, Ed.

I tried the BT-014 on a GSX-R750, great tire, they warm up fast, they stick like glue, better that what you can use on a bandit I think, the suspension just isn't that great on a bandit. They only lasted about 3,ooo miles in the twisties. I have Pilot roads on my b12 and they work great for me as a sport touring tire.
