Title: Busa shock fitted to b6 2000>
Post by: smark32 on March 10, 2006, 03:53:40 PM
Hi to everyone on the forum this is my first post.

I have just fitted a busa shock to my b6 second gen and White Power fork springs. Overall it’s loads better, but I could do with some help to setup the shock for my bike. I found a shock setting guide for the busa and tried that, it was pretty good but not quiet right. Has anyone put a busa shock on the b6 or b12 and what settings did you use?

Setting will vary depending on how much you weigh and what your riding style is. I've got one on my B12, and it's set to give me about an inch of sag via preload and compression and rebound settings at the mid point (10 out of 20). I'm probably ~245-250 lbs. with all my gear on.

I’ve had a play today and found I had to set the preload on nearly all the way to stiffen it up and the compression dampening is on quite hard with as well. I’m the same with the rebound dampening its on about half way, give or take a click.
