For any of you guys who have a superbrace or have fabricated your own thicker fork brace, could you tell me how thick the brace is? 1/4 inch? I'm trying to get one fabricated by a local machinist for cheap. I'm just going to have him make a thicker one using the OEM brace as a model, but I'm not sure how thick I want to go with the new brace.
As always, thanks, in advance! :thanks:

Mine is at the bike shop, I'll measure it later today. I did'nt put it on yet, I was waiting to put my track tires on last month but never made it to the track. Then got busy working yada, yada. Dan

Without measuring it, its all of a 1/4"

Hey Dan, thanks for the effort--I think I'll go with a 1/4'' then. :thanks:

Hey sorry man, I forgot you asked for my drawing. I can't find it on my pc at work. I will have to check to see if I have it at home. I used 1/2" 6061. Basically all I did was remove the stock bracket and use it as a template for the thicker one. Radiused the edges and bolt it on. You will need some longer screws, I used Stainless Steel Button Head Cap Screws.

No problemo chevsuz12, just let me know if you find the drawing. I think I'll go between 1/4-1/2" and maybe a higher grade aluminum. Thanks for the info, though!
