spring lenth?

I brought some progressive fork springs from ebay but they seem to short ( about 1 1/2 inches) should they be the same lenth as standards ? :yesno:

You can adjust the preload of your spring by adjusting the size of your spacer. Its pvc pipe just cut it to length. If you cut it too short,just get another pc. Start by taking the legth of your stock springs,and lay out your new spring with the addition of your spacer. Start a little longer,and you can always cut more off.  Dan

There should be instructions with the Progressive springs to set the right spacer length.  Just make sure the spacers are square cut and the same length.  I have a 4.25 inch spacer with my Progressives.  This gives 30MM sag (165 lb rider).
