Front suspension swaps for 00 B12

Hey all you tight corner people out there.  This will be the 3rd set of seals i've blown through on the front.  Mechanic states due to pits/scars on the fork tubes that the seals will never hold long and that I need new tubes.  Anyone replaced these with inverted versions.  Would like to upgrade due to my weight (250+) and I love to corner at high speeds.  Also looking to jack up the rear due to my height.  Bike has 40K and has had Stage I mods completed.

If you want to jack up the rear, nothing beats installing a Hayabusa shock on the rear.  It takes a few mods, but well worth it.  I am about 250 lbs. as well.  I have yet to modify my front end though.

Early to mid 90's GSXR 1100 (1992-95) will be your best bet, most of the later (2000 and up)stuff is too short and you will lose too much ground clearance.

It is a straight bolt on swap, but be prepared to possibly lose your steering lock and to have new fork stops fabricated.

Why be prepared to lose the stops on the steering? Tank slappers? If so, isn't the shock too long?

No, the forks aren't too long.  the stock stops don't line up with the new triples.
Plus, most people keep the clip ons from the GSXR, and they are lower.

01 Bandit replacements

I picked up a pair of 01 forks for the 00 Bandit. New problem though.  When reinstalling found that Nissan brake calipers don't match exactly on width to tubes.  Trying to figure out what to machine (caliper mount, fork mount, or add spacer to axle.  Anyone deal with this before??

FYI For those creative suspension peeps.
OO Bandit triple tree is @1/4 inch narrower than the 01.
Requires shaving (love my new grinder) of the right side caliper mounts and the fender mopunts for the 01 to get the 01 fender to fit.
After all that trouble I should have gone inverted.

I can't help it...I like to share my problems with the world.
Saves me money ...... I don't have to go to the shrink.
