Title: Custom Back End.....
Post by: Custom 600 on March 27, 2006, 06:01:44 PM
Hi, just registered to the forum tonight.
Been looking everywhere for some ideas on custom seats for the bandit, found a few I really liked, but nothing too exciting. Decided to customise my own in the end, make it a bit different.
I have a Bandit 600 '00.
Just like your thoughts on the back end really... I'll try and get some more pictures up if people are interested. It's certainly good looking through some of the previous threads on the R1 back end.

Thanks
Billy

Once I right clicked on his red X's and hit "View Image" they showed up - and remained once I hit the Back button.

Billy - Is the seat a work in progress, or is that done, less paint?

Hi, I'm at work at the mo, so I can't access Photobucket.
I'll move the photos over tonight and re-post.

Red01 - Yeh the seat is very much work in progress at the moment. I've just fibreglassed the back end of the unit, so I can attach the lighting. Not sure what I'm using yet, it's kind of just flowing really, it has changed loads of times already!!

Hopefully the pictures are up and working now thanks to PhotoBucket.

Thanks PitterB4

Didn't realise how time consuming fibreglass and filling is...
Was up til real late last night looking for a rear light for the new seat, but came up with nothing that would suit it. So decided this morning to stay with the Bandit rear light, glad I did now.
