Hi , I own a 2001 B12 naked and I would like to put a fairing on it . Has anyone tried to fit a full fairing ( other than the orginal one ) on a Bandit ?? I mean something "sport looking" like the SV or R1 or gsxr . If somebody did please let me know .

no keep it naked :stop:

Perhaps a stock 2G fairing coupled with one of the lowers offered here:

I believe they have uppers, too.

The only bolt-on one I know of is from JMV Concept and it's more of a touring fairing and would require you to scrounge up a few parts from the S model to complete.
The JMV Bandit GT fairing with lowers:

Same fairing without the lowers:

They have a similar one for the '06 (and I'm guessing the '07 will be soon to follow):

(They also sell lowers that fit to the OEM 2G & 3G fairing.)
IIRC, someone here adapted GSXR bodywork to a B12, but this would require some fab work.

Now, those I like! (the blue '06 pics) :bigok:
The look like they offer a lot of protection... remind me of the old Concours. I wonder if/when, and how much?

Well, Eurobikes (http://www.eurobikes.com/store/index.php?cPath=1) is the US Distrubutor for JMV and they never have listed the 2G Bandit GT fairing, but just the lowers are $450, so I'm guessing the full GT treatment would be over a grand. (Their stuff does come color matched though.)

Hi , I like something more sport looking . I just got some R1 parts from ebay to see how they look on the bandit ( if I can make them fit on it ). Thank you for you help .

Maybe just get an R1 to add to the collection.

Keep it naked! Stay cooler in the hot weather.
Spend your money making it run better and handle better.
Get handlebars and a custom seat for comfort.
If it is weather protection you want, get an Aerostich Roadcrafter riding suit and a new helmet.
My 2 cents.

In the end a used a yamaha R1 2004-06 fairing . It was kind of a easy work ,I did all myself but the paint job . I need to put the sticker on and the bike wiil be ready . I like the way it looks , let me know what do you think .
