Ebay Integrated Tail Light

Hey everyone, new to the forum and figured I would jump right in lol.  Just picked up a 2005 bandit 1200 and I'm looking to clean up the rear of the bike.  I found this light on ebay for 60 bucks with free shipping.  Has anyone on the forum purchased one?

Make sure that what you buy is for your specific year and model, I have one for a 2001 1200s that is not even close.
Be sure and send an email to get the info from the seller, that way you have some one to go back on if needed.
My bike is a 2000 1200s.

Hey Heat308, I think the bodystyle of the bike changed significantly from 2000 to 2001, which would explain why the taillight you have won't fit correctly.  My bike has two humps in the light (think women's breasts), while the older models were more of a trapezoid shape.

If anyone else has experience with one or more of these lights I would love to hear from them!  Thanks.

Matt, Any of those will work if you have an 05. 06 is when there was a body change. I have the same style as you (03), and I almost got one of these a couple of years back. it was the same one. only now they make them fancier. They all will fit your bike.

What I was attempting to tell you was the info on the web site I bought mine from was wrong.
The unit worked great, it just didn't fit. It's still sitting in the garage somewhere.

I see that this model will fit, but I'm curious if anyone here has bought one and had good results with it.  Its $60 so I think I might just order it, but my main concern is that the LED's are not that bright.  I would rather leave on my stock signals if they put some cheap ass LED's in this thing and I'm going to get rear ended.  Ya know?  Thanks.

Matt, maybe mwheat308 will sell you his since it won't work for him...  :bandit:

The #1 thing about that first link, what's up with the white light coming on in what's the reflector area of the stocker?  I don't think the B12 needs a backup light - unless you've added a sidehack and reverse.

Hey there, just noticed the integrated tail thread and have a 01 B12 with a GIVI wingrack system that have rear blinkers to fit the rack.  I want to be able to remove the rack without messing with the signals and looks like goin integrated would work...  If you are willing to sell the kit you have I would be interested...  I could pay with paypal..

If not could you give me guidance on which one to buy?
