im having trouble finding case gaurds that i like that will fit my 96 b6 but i can find lots of frame slders whats better.sliders or bars. i have been looking a the sliders on wild hair.com. thanks for any help

I'd say whatever fits your tastes and/or budget.

Personally, unless you want something to put highway pegs on, the sliders have a cleaner look.

I went for the even cleaner look of NRC engine covers as sported by these two fine examples of B12 beauty:
