The Dealer
Then take your front end apart to install them.

You could ask Dale if these can be adapted to work on the 1G B6:

I bought the ones I have on my '99 B12 from a local Triumph dealer.

At that time, they were the same thing Dale was selling, and a little cheaper.
I'd measure the diameter or your fork tube, and go to a large dealership and see if any new bike has fork protectors that will fit.
You didn't have to dissassemble your forks to put mine on.....took 10-15 minutes. They're plastic, and if I remember correctly, you just spread them a bit to slip them on, then insert the clamping bolt.
There are also some stainless fork protectors that may fit a b6.

There's an aftermarket mob here called KBC (I think) and they've got some that are carbon fibre or at least carbon fibre looking.
Just make sure you get the right ones. We got some for the treasurers M750, but she's got upside down forks, and the ones we got just don't fit.

I put the Triumph ones on mine. It took ten minutes and they fitted perfectly except for hitting the horn on full compression .Quick fix was to reverse the horn bracket

I was looking for the fork protectors myself and the website I found it on, sorry I can't remember the name of it, said that the triumph would fit and gave part number A9641005.

I used the Triumph ones too. Ten minute install. Woulda been quicker had I not been having a beer and a smoke during the install...

I finally got around to getting them and they look good. They are a bit taller than the ones for the B12 from Dale.
