Post by: JamieK on November 19, 2007, 09:08:19 PM
My list is pretty short this year:
Suburban Machinery SV650 Type 2 bars http://www.suburban-machinery.com/sv650.htm (http://www.suburban-machinery.com/sv650.htm)
Holeshot Stage 2 with pods http://www.holeshot.com/bandit/bndt_b1201_stage2.shtml (http://www.holeshot.com/bandit/bndt_b1201_stage2.shtml)
Holeshot PAIR removal kit http://www.holeshot.com/bandit/bndt_pairremoval.shtml (http://www.holeshot.com/bandit/bndt_pairremoval.shtml)
Buying back my Fastbag luggage off a friend http://www.fastbag.com/english/xx60l_e.html (http://www.fastbag.com/english/xx60l_e.html)

Not a mod but getting a pair of Bridgestone 021's as well http://www.battlax.co.uk/battlax-bt-021/ (http://www.battlax.co.uk/battlax-bt-021/)

Probably just maintenance this winter for me.  Fresh rubber, valve adjustment check, that sort of thing... though the V-Strom hand guards have been on my mind for a while... so that's a possibility.

Brake out the arch welder and fabricate a rear mounting bracket for this $140 seven position steering stabilizer on the left side of my B1250. The forward bracket will just bolt on the the left lower fork clamp. Also a radiator shield like on a dirt bike only with horizontal slats and made of aluminum.

A couple of mods for me:

1. Leo Vince slip-on is on order.
2. Likely an Ivan's jet kit, as I want the needles
3. I never put on my ZG Double Bubble screen from last sping, so thats on the list

and some maintenance:
Change fork oil (it's been 2 years) and I need to add about 1/2" preload.
Likely Valve adjust,
Carb sync

Like Red01, I've been considering the V-Stom hand guards...we'll see.

I'm going to install a fuse block to get my electronic accessories sorted and allow for future expansion in this area.  I'm really digging the GPS I bought for this bike.  Outside of that, I'm due for tires, chain, and sprockets pretty soon.

I also picked up a used (almost new) set of carbs for my 1G.  I know there is a project in there somewhere!!!

Sounds like some cool stuff going on guys

I forgot to add that I have a set of gel grips to install as well.

A new mod that came up just now, I'm talking with an artist friend about doing some airbrushing on the fairing and tail piece...thinking about potential designs...stripes, flames, graphics...dunno

Haven't had a chance to put on my Fenda Extenda or my blingy levers yet. I'll be doing some drawing over the winter on same large paper, and come up with some freestyle design to paint on the side.
