Is a special tool required to either remove or install fork seals?

There are tools but be very careful. If you scratch the fork tube in any way, you're hosed.  You'll have a permanent leak.  Do this, take the forks off the bike and take it to a dealer. The labor cost isn't much and they will do it right.  Also, if you have someone besides a Suz dealer do it get the Suz fork seals, there are some bad aftermarket ones out there.

I'm sure the Holeshot seals are fine, Dale has a reputation to uphold.  Some of the discount houses have some off brands that I've been told to avoid.
