Bandit 1200 bolt-on exhaust compatibility
« on: May 12, 2006, 07:29:45 AM »
Hey guys, I looked into seeing what will bolt on to replace the stock exhaust can and it turns out that the Kawasaki ZX6R for the years 1998 to 2002 is a perfect fit. I have a nice Hindle on my bike now which I found used off a ZX6R and wow, it looks and works good. I've also fitted an Akropovic Ti and Leo Vince bolt-on no probs. That should open a few doors!

Is that a slip-on (w/mid-pipe) or a bolt-on (uses OEM B12 midpipe)?

If it's a bolt-on, is this on a 1G or a 2G?

That would be with the stock mid pipe on a 2000 B12. Sounds pretty good.

if you want to keep the bike sounding standard (not me) then an rf900 can fits quite easy and is less restrictive than a bandit can
