Gas/fuel tank compatibility

I did a search and came up empty. Is a 1999 gas tank compabible with a 2004 Bandit? Probably not, but I thought I'd ask since the '99 tank looks different (more like a Gen 2) than earlier model Gen 1 Bandits.

No, it's still a first gen, and not compatible.
