I have Suburban Machinery bars on my '01 1200. I they sent me what they thought would work. I fit the bars on and had the same issue you ran into. No clearance for the master cylinder:

When I called them back, they offered to take the original's back and made me up a set custom. I fit them a couple of weeks ago, and they work just fine now. I think with the measurements I sent it, they should be good to go now with Bandit 1200 bars. I posted some pics of my bike in another thread. This pic shows the new bars, and another farther away shot so you can see the profile. They are very agressive (especially with the corbin seat being lower), but that's how I like it (the riding, I mean . I had these on my old SV and loved them, so I could not bear to be without on my Bandit.

think the bars would be fine with the wider, larger stock clocks, but I'm not sure...
YMMV. No doubt, the people at Suburban Machinery are tops.
