Title: GSXR 750 Exhaust?
Post by: Doch80 on February 03, 2006, 02:40:59 AM
This might be a stupid question since the part#'s are different, but will a slip-on from a 00-03 GSXR 750 fit on my 2001 Bandit?  Does anyone know if they are 3 bolts or 4 bolts holding them up.  If they are three, wouldn't they work?

Anyways, did a search and I don't think the question has been asked before.  If anybody knows offhand, feel free to chime in.

Appriciate it!

Chad

If it is a stock 750 exhaust that you referring too?  If so, why would you want to?

B/c there is a chance to get a Yoshimura RS-3 Slip-On that's for a GXSR.  I haven't been able to see the back of it yet to see the patteren of the bolts.

It would have to be a bolt-on, not a slip-on, to stand a chance of being swappable, and then, even if the pattern was the same, it would have to have the right clocking - which is why you can't use a 2001 bolt-on on a 2000 B12, because Suzuki changed the clocking.

If it's a true slip-on, it would come with a midpipe, and in that case, the odds would be against you they'd be the same - probably not even close.

But to answer your question, the '00-'03 GSXR750 uses a 4-bolt flange.
