ever tried putting high intensity discharge light on bandits?

Is that the same thing as xenon? If so, I have a kit for my Bandit and will tell you the results when I get it installed.

A High Intensity Discharge lighting system is quite different than a simple bulb change.
HID uses a special power supply to produce high voltage pulses that ionize a gas inside the bulb envelope. This strobing effect is too rapid for the naked eye to notice, but it is a strobe effect and consumes less current than a continuously lighted bulb.
There are "kits" available but they're fairly expensive at about $400 - $500. They include a power pack, ballast and a different bulb. While expensive they do produce a lot brighter light and the bults should last longer due to not having a filament to burn out.

HIDynamics (http://hidynamic.com/) has HID kits for motorcycles, and they're nowhere near $400-$500. I have a set of 10k's for my car, but I haven't gotten to put them in yet, as the new headlight housings I was going to put on my car got ripped off out of my car. I've been thinking about a kit for my B6, probably after I get the jet kit on, new front springs and fork seals on, and new rear shock on.
