Hand/Knuckle guards

Anyone have any experience fiting hand/knuckle guards to an '00 1200? Just acquired one over the weekend, and wow, what a blast! Needs some wind protection on the hands, though.

There's also a thread in the 600/1200 FAQ on fitting V-Strom handguards. The guy who pioneered it had a 2G, but I don't see why it wouldn't work on a 1G.

Here's the FAQ thread:

1G B6  brake is identical and works.

clutch is cable on the B6, but hydraulic on the B12 so it should work on the 1G B12.

I had to use a DR650 clutch handguard for my B6.  Took more modification than I wanted to do, and isn't the same texture, but functionally it works great!
