why is it some places have risers for the 2004 bandit 1200 s and not for the 2005, is there something i should know before i order them

No difference between the 04 and 05 models.  Go with holeshot or GenMar.  Both are good IMO.

The places that don't list the '05 just haven't updated their product application. The only difference between the '04 & '05 models is what colors they came in.

Very little changed between the 2001 and 2005 B12, and what did change, was pretty minor stuff... stuff that doesn't have any effect on ANY of the aftermarket add-ons or mods.
