Nevertheless even though TBI uses an injector for each throttle body on motorcycles, basically just replacing the carburetor with electronic injection,  MPI is a more evolved system which uses an injector at each cylinder in addition to a throttle body for metering only air flow, providing even better response and performance, an unequivocal fact.

Relative newcomer checking in from Hawaii!

2007 1250S in black, but somehow it shows up as a 2008 model on the owners manual and when registered!

Aloha,
Huladog

Hello all. I also have a 07 1250. It replaced my 05 1200 due to an accident.  :duh:

I guess things sometimes happen for a reason as I really like the 1250 more.

No mods to mention yet.

Welcome you guys to this forum and congratulations on the best standard street/touring value motorcycle ever developed. Suzuki really knocked the ball out of the stadium this time. Latest new mod info to hit the street is that there is an OEM tank bra for the B1250, Suzuki Part number 990A0-36000 .
Also if you have hard side cases almost any after market slip-on exhaust designed for the B1250 will work provided you rotate the mid pipe to lower the can.

Bought a "red" GSF1250S Bandit about a month ago, with hard cases, sheepskin seat cover, tank protector and radguard.

Another rider with a Bandit and a Trumpet.   :thumb:

I've gone over a great many times the thought of getting rid of my Scrambler.  I just can't do it.  So I'll chuck my car instead.

Add another rider from Japan--B1250ABS with about 8,000 KMs since last June.  I'd agree with most of what's been said about mods--JUST BANDITS in the UK has some very nice kit.

Hey fellas (and ladies) --

I've owned all three generations, now riding the '07 1250S. Bone stock except for adjusting the seat to the higher position. Would like to swap out the exhaust, but more power doesn't interest me. I would just like it to be a little louder in traffic.

Cheers.

IIRC Canada gets the GT version as well, c/w fairing lowers and hard bags, but NOT the top box. I makes the new 1250 look pretty good in my mind, but pretty pricy compared to the US $ standard 1250.
