Title: Hey is this a good price for this? Corbin Gun & Lady!
Post by: Daytona on August 25, 2005, 12:11:15 PM
This is about as good as i've seen! If not why? I know the Gun & lady isn't for the peg dragger! I have chicken strips galore! Is the material the problem? Or is it close enough to getting it from corbin factory price, get what you really want! I'm tempted!  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-Corbin-Seat-Suzuki-Bandit-GSF-600-1200-GFL_W0QQitemZ4570396938QQcategoryZ35589QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Be careful.  I asked him several days ago to show me some pics of the actual seat, but he hasn't replied.  That's just a picture straight out of Corbin's catalog.

I always figure they're hiding something when they won't show you the actual product.  I would HAVE to see the REAL seat.

Price isn't horrible.

This might be a better idea for you, maybe...

Title: Corbin seat

Saw this on "Max-Zuk"      I bought a temp guage from this guy,  and he's a real straight-up seller,  with great communication and fast shipping.........

"I am selling a black Corbin Gunfighter & Lady Seat plus the removable backrest from a First Generation Bandit 1200. I had the seat reupholstered in a soft durable vinyl in 2003 and have the receipt for the work done. Seat is in excellent condition and the vinyl is a dead ringer for leather to my eye. Only signs of wear on the reupholstered material is where the underside of the seat contacts the fairing/frame, but you have to have the seat off of the bike to see it. Requires bracket and hardware from your stock seat for installation. Looks like whole setup sells on Corbin's website for $677. Best offer over $250 takes everything. Buyer pays shipping. I will try to post pics later, but if you want pics in the meantime, please email me at psiana@corus.jnj.com. "

Good luck !             Les

:stop:     :danger:

No response to my pic request for days!  Have done a 2nd request.  I think we've got a scammer here.  Something's wrong with the seat OR he doesn't actually have it.

Don't fall for it.  Why wouldn't he respond to the Ask Seller A Question procedure?  Why won't he show a REAL picture?

8/26 Well if that is the case (scamin ebayer) some one bit the hook on one anyway! They sure have alot of great feedback! These seats are on other parts outlets for a bit more than the ebay ones. I was just wondering why they aren't selling. Is it the material? Corbin changed to a rough texture stuff, or the other way i forget. No matter to me i don't think i will go for the Gun & lady! That way if some one with a bottom that looks like what i see every time you post!! temps me!! i won't have a nice Corbin pad area, for that platnum $*part*$. The thought of guns & my lady isn't pretty. :thanks:

:duh: Ooops!  I am so sorry!  I have been looking at this ad and thinking because of the picture used that it was the same one mentioned in this thread.  My mistake.

The one directly above is the one that won't respond to questions and won't post real pics.  Again, sorry!
