Holeshot exhaust... Anyone else have this problem???
« on: April 28, 2006, 10:20:37 AM »
I was polishing the can and midpipe last night and noticed that the midpipe was loose at the collector....AGAIN. This is the second time in a month that I've found it loose. Maybe it needs a better clamp.
Anyone else???
Some people are like Slinkies.
They're really good for nothing.
But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Maybe the screw is coming loose with vibration. Try some loctite.

I had that problem on mine a couple of times Ed. What I would do is pull the mid-pipe out of the header and warp a layer of aluminum tape around the front of the mid-pipe, put it back in and re-tighten. Worked for me.
