What can you do to the suspension to make it all out handle in the twisties...It does alright but I wanna be able to get it at a higher pace? Any suggestions
-
What are the shortcomings of your suspension, now?
What would you see as an improvement?
What would allow you to go faster?
For me, having the suspension firmer, meant I could finally learn that the bike was capable of getting around corners faster than I was capable of.
I'm a large person, , so the stock stuff would dive under braking, and wallow on bumpy stuff.
Once I got a decent rear shock, and Progressive fork springs in, I could start pushing it harder, and really began how to go as fast as I wanted, smoothly, and without drama. I don't ride 'all out', but enjoy a brisk pace where I'm pushing it, without wetting my pants.

I mean I am a pretty large guy to...I mean not like FAT or anything and I'm sure your not either. It feels like when I am gettin on it in some twisties that the bike gets a little unsure of itself. I am talkin all out run the hell outta it and lean it over...do I make any sense? What kinda stuff do I need to buy to make this possible

If you wanna go cheap, buy a b-12 used shock and get some Progressive springs for about $70 . The b-12 shock is quite a bit stiffer than the stock 600's. If you are okay spending about $ 450 buy the same progressive springs for the front, then buy a progressive rear shock. My friend has a b-600 and we through on my b-12 used rear shock on for him , he said it rides quite a bit stiffer .

How bad was the swap out of the b12 shock, Bryan? Was it strictly a bolt in deal?
(You can usually pick those up on Ebay for like $25.) That might be a good first step, along with front springs.
Roamr has the same 420 shock I have. Matter of fact, I think I still have his shock wrench!
If you ever decide to get a real aftermarket shock, you can usually get your $$ out of a used B12 shock.

It is strictly a bolt on project. It raises the rear about an inch or so, this is great because it quickens up your steering geometry.
-
I am looiking for something adjustable, any idea's
-
Raise the fork tubes 1 inch in the triples
Race Tech fork springs
Fork brace
Steel braided front brake lines
Aftermarket rear shock
Premium rubber
Thats about the best you are gonna get a B12/6 suspension without spending enough to buy a GSXR.
Good Luck, Ed.

I only found two that were located in the UK and didn't look like there where in good condtion!
If you swapped out teh B6 rear for a b12 rear would you have to move the forks back to the stock settiings in the triple clamps or can you leave them at 1" moved up?
-
I would say it depends on how much, if at all, the rear height is affected.
