Hugger Fitting
« on: April 17, 2005, 03:57:57 PM »
Has anyone heard of using a GSXR hugger 96 up on a Bandit 600?  I think I can get one for really good deal and was wanting to know if anyone else has tried before.  I don't like the $100+ price of the ones for a Bandit 600.  I will be trying to make if fit a 2003 Bandit 600.

Haven't heard of it... kinda doubt it. Heck, a 96 B6 hugger won't fit your '03... and GSXR's have different swingarms, suspension, etc.

96-up GSXR what? 600? 750? 1100? Up to what? The GSXR's of the late 90's thru today have gone thru a lot of changes. I can't even imagine a hugger from a '96 fitting an '05.

Sorry, the hugger I was looking at was for a GSXR 600 and the description said it fit 96 and up.  Looking on on ebay alot of the GSXR 600/750 huggers look very similar to the Bandit 600 huggers, but there are a lot more used ones selling cheaper.  I expect to have to do a little bracket fabbing to mount it.
